RETURN POLICY

 

Warranty Repair Returns

Return Period
• Within the warranty period of the equipment, after shipping the equipment
• Equipment must be returned within 14 days of issuing Authorization for Return
 
Qualifying Equipment
• All equipment sold by GPImeters
• All equipment that was misapplied, used with incompatible medias, improperly connected to power source, incorrectly wired or physically damaged by user
 
Condition of Equipment
• Equipment Must Be cleaned thoroughly prior to returning
• An MSDS must be included with the shipment for equipment that was used with hazardous medias
 
Repair Fees
• None, unless cleaning is required or if there are non-warranty issues
 
Freight Charges
• Return freight charges to factory or GPImeters are to be pre-paid by the shipper
• Shipping charges back to the user will be pre-paid GPImeters when there was a warranty issue
 
Authorization for Return
• Please contact us for an Authorized Return Number before returning equipment
• Unauthorized returns will be returned to the shipper at the shipper’ s expense or discarded
 
Turn-Around Time
• Total turn-around time is approximately 1-3 weeks
• We will contact you 7-10 days after receiving equipment for repair to inform you of status and condition of equipment

 
Most equipment requiring repair will be directed to ship to the factory


 

Returns for Repair, Cleaning and/or Calibration

Return Period
• Equipment must be returned within 14 days of issuing Authorization for Return

Repair Fees
• Estimated fees may be quoted based on user’ s description of issues
• Actually costs will be determined after equipment is returned and inspected
• A credit card or purchase order (for open accounts) will be required before shipping back to the user
 
Freight Charges
• Return freight charges are to be pre-paid by the shipper
• Shipping charges back to the user may be shipped collect freight or prepaid and added to the invoice

• Please contact us for an Authorized Return Number before returning equipment
• Unauthorized returns may be returned to the shipper at the shipper’ s expense or credit will not be issued
 
Turn-Around Time
• Total turn-around time is 1-3 weeks
• We will contact you 7-10 days after receiving equipment for repair to inform you of status, condition and service fees

  Returns for Credit

Return Period
• 60 days after shipping
 
Qualifying Equipment
• Standard stocked equipment sold by GPImeters
• Special non-stock equipment is not returnable
• Large quantities may be limited – please contact us
• Batteries are not returnable
 
Restocking Charge
• 15% of paid price for equipment
 
Freight Charges
• Return freight charges are to be prepaid by the shipper/user
 
Condition of Equipment
• Equipment Must Be In New and Unused Condition in Original Box
• Original Calibration Reports Must also be returned with G2, A1, OM & G Series meters (Missing Calibration Reports will result in a credit deduction of $120 per meter)
• Equipment found to be used will be returned to the shipper at the shipper’ s expense or the equipment will be discarded
 
Authorization for Return
• Please contact us for an Authorized Return Number before returning equipment
• Unauthorized returns may be returned to the shipper at the shipper’ s expense or credit will not be issued
 
Receiving Your Refund
• Allow 14 days after we receive and inspect the equipment to process your credit
• Refund amount will be paid price for equipment less restocking fees and any shipping charges
• Restocking fees could be higher if original boxing and/or documentation is not also returned
• Refunds can be issued as an account credit or a credit on your credit card
